A Few Old Tractors
By drybrush | June 22, 2008
This weekend there has been an antique tractor show in Yolo County. Yesterday, a friend and I went out there and took some pictures of the event.
It’s being held at the Dan Best Ranch. You can read more about it at bestshowontracks.org

Great Horned Owl
By drybrush | June 15, 2008
Can you see him in this picture? He’s very well camouflaged among the pinecones.
Earlier in the day he was being attacked by the pair of Swainson’s Hawks that have been nesting in that tree. They finally gave up after a valiant effort, consisting of many violent and powerful high speed air attacks. I am afraid that the Swainson’s young may have met their demise.
