The University of California Cooperative Extension has launched a new website (Farm Business and Marketplace) to help smaller farmers, and those new to farming, learn the business and marketing skills necessary to succeed with their enterprise.  The goal of the website is ”To provide a ‘one stop’ place where owners and managers of Central Coast farms can access research based information to assist with business and marketing decisions and success.”  The site appears to be laid out well and provides quite a bit of useful information for the small scale farmer.
