Snow Geese Arising
Friday, January 18th, 2008To my mind, an image like this of snow geese in flight silhouetted against the Sacramento valley horizon, has a kind of grandness that make you feel privileged just to witness it.
White Pelicans
Wednesday, January 16th, 2008While on a short drive the other day I spotted these white pelicans just relaxing in the sun on a slough next to the Sacramento River.
