Saturday, May 3rd, 2008Someone asked me about the “Red Stuff” that my friend Sarge put around his tomatoes, and so I thought I would mention it here.
 The “Red Stuff” is “S R M Red” purchased from Totally Tomatoes.

Sarge’s New Tomato Garden
Thursday, May 1st, 2008Out at the Cache Creek Ranch Sarge’s tomatoes are now planted. We planted 30 plants total, two each of 15 varieties. The red stuff is an attempt at a more efficient weed control. I just hope he can keep the rabbits and gophers out.
