Deer Watching
Friday, September 7th, 2007The other day I was out in the western part of the county near the foothills of the Pacific coast range, and spotted these two blacktail deer under a tree. They definately had their eyes on me, but they were well camouflaged and not too bothered by my presence.

The Round Barn
Monday, August 6th, 2007In the process of cataloging some of the barns in Yolo county, California I came accross this round barn near Esparto. The history of round barns is somewhat interesting; and the barn shown here is not listed in this catalog of California round barns.
