It’s opening day of dove season on September 1. I haven’t been dove hunting for several years, but I remember that I especially loved the morning hunt. The aroma of the dried grasses somewhat damp with the morning dew mixed with the pungent odor of Tarweed always evokes some great memories of hunting with friends.
