Our vegetable garden has been in for several weeks now, and it’s looking pretty good. The area is partially shaded, so this year we put the garden in early in order to accumulate more total hours of sunlight. I was particularly worried about the squash. A couple of years ago I planted them late and they didn’t produce much fruit. Now, however, they are looking good and I am hopeful.
But  I am worried about the weather. Late storms have been passing through and the sun is scarce. It’s usually very sunny around here by now. Oh well, the proof of the garden will be in the eating.
